The Ski Box Box integrates advanced materials and technologies to ensure superior performance and user convenience. The aerodynamic design minimizes air friction, improving fuel efficiency. The ski box features a Twin Pod Shell Cover system accessible from both sides of the vehicle, simplifying loading and unloading. Safety features include 3mm thick anodized aluminum ski stoppers to prevent skis from becoming projectiles
in the event of an accident. The interior also includes a LED lighting system for
nighttime visibility, enhancing usability.
The primary objective of the Ski Box Box project was to design a ski box that excels in reducing drag, saving energy, and providing easy access for users. The solution involved creating a robust ski box capable of carrying 8+ skis, featuring no side barriers for easy ski placement. The box is made from thick, robust ABS plastic and uses stainless steel hardware along with anodized aluminum, ensuring durability and weather resistance. Included with the ski box is a unique Ski Rake and other surprise gifts, enhancing the user experience.

The project involved multiple revisions for over 80 parts across a significant time span, resulting in a multi-patented skiing solution. The patent portfolio highlights the advanced engineering and unique features incorporated into the Ski Box Box to enhance its performance and usability, reflecting the project's commitment to innovation and quality.
The development process for the Ski Box Box involved thorough research into user needs and preferences, particularly those of avid skiers. Prototyping and user feedback were instrumental in refining the design to ensure it met practical requirements such as ease of use, security, and efficiency. The Ski Box Box was engineered for accessibility, even while wearing ski gloves, with features like Fingerlift handles and an adjustable Ski Rake for seamless operation. Additionally, ITZLABOOMA has been designed and manufactured as a marvel of engineering, standing out significantly compared to current cargo boxes on the market.
